With stocks you have fees when buying and selling for x-amount of yrs depending on how well the stock is doing. Yes you can buy stocks into the bigger trucking companies but I'm talking about investing in the company itself.

The truck you see cost around $140,500 and the trailer about $75,000 what the banks would make on the finance charges for 5 yrs depending on credit about 10.9%. Your investment of about $300k will pay you every month for 5 yrs interest only and at the end pay you back the full $300k.
